St Aloysius University, Jai Tulunad Hold Tulu Script Workshop

St Aloysius (Deemed to be University), in collaboration with Jai Tulunad (R.) Kudla Unit, organized the one-day "Tulu Lipi Polabu" workshop to promote and preserve the traditional Tulu script. Held at Joseph Willy Hall, the programme introduced students and enthusiasts to the history and practical use of the ancient Tigalari script. Expert instructors Uday Poonja Tharipadigutthu, Rajashree Chandrashekar, Shilpashri Tuluvedi, Chirashree Deralakatte, and Rohini Shetty Manel led the sessions. Supported by the university administration, the initiative strengthened awareness of Tulu heritage and encouraged continued efforts to preserve the region's linguistic legacy.
